About Linda

Every bag I’ve made for the past twenty years started the same way. A hide on the table, a few tools I’ve had since the beginning, and the belief that the things you carry every day should be made by a person, not stamped out by a machine.

After more than two decades at the bench, it’s time to slow down.

I opened my workshop in Asheville in 2001. Since then I’ve chosen the leather, cut it, stitched it and finished it myself, one bag at a time, and I was never interested in learning to do it faster. Now I’m closing the workshop. Rather than put the last of my bags away in boxes, I’d rather send them to people who will actually carry them, so everything that’s left is up to 70% off.
